…I felt hopeless. It was windy; the rain was drizzling so hard that in a couple of second I was soaked. I thought, as quick as possible I need to find a shelter. Far away I see nothing, but I didn’t lose my hope and start walking like the battle needed to win. After walking a mile, there I see a girl, laughing and smiling; playing with the fear some windy weather with her clothes fully drenched. As I went near I see her beautiful face with a smile attached on it. I didn’t say a word just stayed and watched her playing. I even didn’t notice that we both were soaked with the rain. I tried to talk but no words were coming through my mouth. I just gave my heart to her, to her smile. After a moment she stares at me with a smile in her face. Before I even tried to talk her she just waved bye and sprint like a bolt. I was left clueless.
I headed toward in search of shelter but my mind was flying high up sky just thinking about her smile. Her smile killed me million times in last hour. When I just gave up my hope; the lightening strike ahead was showing a pathway. It was a shade for me, a cover to protect my shivering body. I just went near the door, knock twice not that hard. But the pain was upgrading through my veins. A minute later I hear someone walking toward the door. The fragrance, the aura… I felt like I have some old connection with that stuff. There she was standing tall ahead of me opening a door. I was surprised because it was the same girl whom I just met her an hour ago. She still got that smile in her beautiful face, like it will last every day. I find myself in another world just me and her.
But I didn’t notice her saying, “Can I help you with anything?” I was just dreaming about her smile. She asked me twice but still I didn’t say a single word. She touched me in my hand; I was shocked for a moment and asked me the same thing.
I replied can I have a shelter until the weather remains fine. Still keeping a smile on her face she just invited me in. She handed me a towel and went inside the kitchen. The weather which I desperately wanted to be stopped, I prayed it continue for few more hours. I tried to close my eyes and dreamed about her smile. Those same smiles which make me fall in love with her. She came with a tray with a cup of coffee. The fear of weather, the shivering body and my frozen veins disappeared after I see her smile on her face. Her smile was a diluted medicine which strikes on my heart and passes through every vein healing every part of my body.
She was standing by my side still with that very same smile on her face. Every sip of that coffee was unnoticed because her smile muffled the taste and my feelings. Even I didn’t realized when I ingest the last sip of coffee until her soft voice suggesting, its empty can I get you another cup of coffee?
I find myself clueless after hearing those words from her. I just looked toward her and with the facial expression I just replied NO.
After a moment, I woke up and find myself in a different place. I didn’t know what the time was and which day it was. I felt like I had taken a huge nap and didn’t know what did happen after that cup of coffee. I tried to remember but only thing I remember was her smile, like I was cursed. Few minutes later, I notice some metal like object in my pocket and when I looked into it, it was a cell phone. I checked it and found her pretty looking face with a never lasting smile.
